Due to the cancellation of its annual gala, A Safe Space of St. Charles is hosting a Fall Frenzy Virtual Auction from 12 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 to 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11.

Organizers said the virtual silent auction will be a great opportunity to get a jump on Christmas shopping while supporting women in the River Parishes and beyond. Among the items up for grabs is a Baltimore Ravens jersey signed by Ed Reed.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. A Safe Space of St. Charles Domestic Violence Advocacy & Support Program aims to equip and empower survivors with the resources to make informed and healthy life choices. The goal is to help survivors become self-sufficient so they may lead a life that is free from violence.
