Martin E. Naquin, 66, died on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014.

He was the beloved husband of Cynthia Molaison Naquin; father of Liz Villemarette (William) and Ben Naquin (Codi); grandfather of Kayley, L. J., Lexi and Brian Naquin and Brooklyn Villemarette; son of the late Edward and Jane Naquin; and brother of Raymond, Allen and James Naquin, Brenda Arceneaux and the late Joseph and Gerald Naquin, Catherine Picou, Marjorie Andras and Iris Oubre.

A native of Thibodaux, he was a resident of LaPlace.

Relatives and friends attended Mass Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in LaPlace, and the burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
