LAPLACE — The Association of School Business Officials awarded a Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting to the St. John the Baptist Parish School Board for its comprehensive annual financial report for the year ended June 30, 2012.

This was the School Board’s 13th year to receive the prestigious award for its report, school leaders said.

The School Board also submitted its June 30, 2012, comprehensive annual financial report to the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada and was awarded the organization’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 11th year.
