Testing sites in New Orleans and Jefferson recently opened to all Louisiana residents showing symptoms of COVID-19. Testing takes place in the parking lots of the Mahalia Jackson Theatre and the University of New Orleans Lakefront Arena in Orleans Parish and in the Alario Event Center parking lot in Jefferson Parish. All sites are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. New Orleans sites can test up to 100 people per day, while the Jefferson Parish site can test up to 250 people per day. Results will be given via phone in three to five days.
