A United Way of St. Charles volunteer hands out school supplies at a back-to-school event last year. The event is being held again this year from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Covenant Church Youth Center, located in the rear of the church at 1973 Ormond Boulevard in Destrehan.
