Martin Luther King Jr. was a civil rights leader well-known to end racial segregation and violence in the United States. Because of Martin Luther King Jr., all races of children can now attend the same schools to learn and play together and make new friends. He didn’t want us fighting and killing each other but to hold hands and stand strong together as one nation. I’m glad I’ve learned so much about Martin Luther King Jr. and live in a society where all races can now come together as one. African Americans are now given the same opportunities as other races. The color of our skin should not matter but what’s in our hearts should. I’m excited to honor and celebrate his legacy and life in our country. Martin Luther King died fighting for equal justice in America. We are now Free at last, Free at last, Thank God almighty we are Free at last.
