Inauguration Day is almost here: Hotard swears in as Parish President Monday

EDGARD — The public is invited to the 2020 Inauguration Ceremony for Parish President Jaclyn Hotard and the St. John the Baptist Parish Council.
The inauguration will be held Monday, Jan. 13, in Edgard.
The day begins with a 10 a.m. Mass at St. John the Baptist Church, located at 2361 Highway 18 in Edgard. The Inauguration Ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. at the Edgard Courthouse at 2393 Highway 18. A St. John the Baptist Parish Council meeting featuring the new Parish Council will commence at noon.
Immediately after the Parish Council meeting, the public is invited to travel across the river for a luncheon at REGALA Gymnasium in Reserve.
