MANCHAC — A Fall Afternoon on the Manchac Greenway was rescheduled to Friday, Dec. 6, due to recent inclement weather.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

1 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. – Park at Bec’s at the Lake Restaurant, located at 106 Gary Road in LaPlace.

1:15 p.m. to 1:25 p.m. – Board bus and travel to Turtle Cove Office.

1:25 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. – History of Turtle Cove presented by Dr. Robert Moreau of Southeastern Louisiana University, followed by a boat cruise to Manchac Mansion.

3:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Board bus and travel to Shell Bank Bayou

3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Paddle Trip

5 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. – Board bus and travel to Bec’s at the Lake Restaurant.

5:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Food & Beverages
