LAPLACE — The success of any organization is tied to the effectiveness of the people who represent it and how they feel about the work they perform.

The local office of the Louisiana Small Business Development Center is hosting a workshop for business owners, supervisors and managers to learn how to assess employees and develop a plan to permanently boost engagement, productivity and success.

According to organizers, special emphasis will be given to understanding and leading the different generations represented in the workforce.

The workshop will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 30 at the River Region Chamber of Commerce, located at 390 Belle Terre Blvd. in LaPlace.
