L’OBSERVATEUR reader wins $175 with May’s “Read & Win,” June’s contest jumps to $225

LAPLACE — Cynthia Duhe held up $175 cash this week, her prize as the winner of L’OBSERVATEUR’s “Read and Win” cash contest.
The Reserve resident purchased a newspaper in May at a local grocery store and returned the winning entry form to the LaPlace newspaper office.
The contest continues in June, INCREASING IN SIZE to a “Read and Win” $225 contest, sponsored by St. James Parish Hospital and Ross Louque Exterminating.
