James Patrick Murray Jr. passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025 at the age of 69. He was born in New Orleans, La. and a resident of Kenner, La.

Beloved husband of Loretta Wade Murray. Loving father of Brooke Kilburn, Katie Hymel (Bubba) and Danny Murray (Mikah). Grandfather of Rhys Kilburn, Seger Kilburn, Kenzie Hymel, Kamdyn Hymel, Evangeline Cvitanovich and Miller Murray. Son of Patricia Caronne Murray and the late James P. Murray Sr. Brother of Monte Murray and Erin Smith. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Friday, May 2, 2025. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 12 p.m. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery, St. Rose, La.
