I-55 remains closed in both directions from I-10 to Ponchatoula as inspections continue.
In a Facebook post made by Louisiana State Police this morning, officials stated that Old US 51 is available as an alternate route.
“Drivers and owners of vehicles involved in the crash who are looking for information on where their vehicle was towed are encouraged to contact Troop B by email at TroopB@la.gov,” said the post.
Vehicle owners looking to retrieve personal items or their vehicles can do so by providing proof of ownership to the tow company where their vehicle is being stored.
