Parts of LaPlace have been affected by power outages today due to a blown transformer, according to a post made on the St. John the Baptist Parish Facebook page.

St. John Parish is in contact with Entergy and crews are on site making repairs.

“We are aware of a power outage affecting parts of LaPlace and have confirmed Entergy crews are on site working to restore,” said the post.
