Hahnville – The Department of Wastewater will begin work on Monday, September 18, 2023, with contractor BLD Services to clean and inspect the gravity sewer in preparation for the slip lining improvements that will begin later this year.

 

Intermittent lane closures along Barton Ave. from River Rd. to Rex St. should be expected, but one lane will be left open for traffic and emergency vehicles to pass. Crews will be onsite Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., but work can take place outside of these hours if unforeseen issues arise.

 

Minimal inconvenience is expected during this phase of the work, which is expected to conclude at the end of October, weather permitting.
