The St. John Parish youth football season kicked off with Hype Night at REGALA Gymnasium.

The New Orleans Saints cheer team made a special appearance at Hype Night, hosted at REGALA Gymnasium.

RESERVE — Parish President Jaclyn Hotard and the St. John Parish Parks & Rec Department partnered with the NFL and the New Orleans Saints to host Hype Night at REGALA Gymnasium to kick off the NFL FLAG Youth Football season.
The event featured special appearances from New Orleans Saints Mascot “Gumbo” and Cheerleaders as well as music and team introductions. With more than 130 participants and 15 teams, this flag football season is sure to be a great one.
The season opener will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, September 16.
