Free child safety seat installations offered this Saturday in Edgard

EDGARD — Child passenger safety technicians for the SJSO are presenting child safety seat checkup stations on the east and west banks of the parish.
Upcoming stations are September 16 from noon to 4 p.m. at the West Bank Public Safety Complex on River Road in Edgard and September 30 from noon to 4 p.m. at at SJSO Patrol Headquarters on Deputy Barton Granier Drive in LaPlace.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate in these checkup stations where experts will be on hand to answer questions, make sure your child is buckled in the correct seat for their age and size, and to double check that your child’s seat is properly installed.
