CONVENT — An AARP safe driving course is being offered by St. James Parish Elderly Services in partnership with the St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office. The class is being held at District 4 Convent Community Center, 5781 Highway 44 Convent, LA 70723 on September 20, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members; this cost covers all materials needed for the course. Participants must be 55 years of age or older. Please contact Elderly Services at 225-562-2362 to register. Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes early for registration.
