RESERVE — Jaye Ambrose has been named the new Supervisor of Land and Facilities for St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools.

Although new to this district, Ambrose has over 18 years of experience within a school setting. She has a successful track record of overseeing 16 facilities, rental of facilities, staffing, and operations and maintenance within another school district. Her past job titles have included Operations and Maintenance Supervisor and HR Coordinator. Ambrose has also worked as a teacher and reading interventionist. She holds a Master’s Degree in HR Management.

“I’m looking forward to serving the needs of the St. John Parish School District,” she said. “My biggest goal in this new position would be accountability in maintaining work orders to keep our grounds, buildings, and facilities in compliance so our students are able to have a safe, conducive learning environment.”
