Sheriff Champagne announces the arrest of Andre Damone Stipe, a fifty-five-year-old male from Killona, LA for a shooting that injured one in the 200 block of Pine Street in Hahnville on August 19, 2023.
Deputies with the St. Charles Parish Sheriffβs Office responded to the report of a male shot in the foot in the 200 block of Pine Street in Hahnville, LA on Saturday, August 19, 2023, around 7:27 P.M.
Responding deputies located a male victim with a gunshot wound to his lower leg. The victim told deputies that Damone Stipe shot him after an argument between the two. The victim was transported by EMS to an area hospital for medical treatment.
Detectives applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Andre Damone Stipe.
Andre Damone Stipe was placed under arrest on August 20, 2023, at the St. Charles Parish Sheriffβs Office Headquarters in Luling, LA. Stipe is charged with Aggravated Second Degree Battery and a 29th JDC Attachment for Failure to Comply with Conditions of Probation.
This is an ongoing active investigation.
