RESERVE — Learn how fast, dependable broadband access is provided to rural residents and small businesses during the River Region Broadband Summit on Tuesday, August 29. The event will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at River Parishes Community College in Reserve. Lunch will be provided.

According to organizers, current broadband maps in the United States are outdated and, at times, incorrect. Community stakeholders will discuss making a plan to challenge the maps.
