CONVENT — During the recent St. James Council Meeting, Parish President Pete Dufresne recognized Miss Chloe Campbell as the Very Special Miss Louisiana Teen Queen.
Chloe is using her reign as a platform to spread awareness about individuals with disabilities, but more specifically individuals with undiagnosed disabilities. Her hope is to spread awareness and open more opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This pageant is put on by the TARC program and raises funds for individuals with disabilities.
Chloe is a resident of Paulina and a sixth grade student at Gramercy Elementary School. She is the daughter of Dr. Melissa and Lee Roussel and is one of five children. Chloe is unique in the sense that she has an undiagnosed disability; however, she and her family have not allowed this disability to hinder her experiencing life to its fullest. Chloe participates in dance at Lisa and Michelle’s Ecole de Danse in Thibodaux, is a lover of all things Disney, and is a world traveler.
