Bettye Jo Boswell, age 85 of LaPlace, LA departed this life at Waldon Health Care in Kenner, LA on August 8, 2023. Mrs. Betty was born July 29, 1938 to James and Ola Gibson in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. She is proceeded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and husband Jerroul Boswell. Survivors include a brother Horace Gibson (Jonel) of California, daughter Debbie Lillard (John) of Smithville, Arkansas, son Curtis Singleton of Oklahoma City, daughters Cyndi McGregor and Angie Jacob of LaPlace, LA, five grandsons Travis Lillard (Holli) of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Wesely Lillard (Missy) of Smithville, Arkansas, Brandon Gregory (Kelly) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Austin Jacob (fiancé Courtney Simon) of Kenner, LA, and Thomas McGregor of LaPlace, LA, three great grandchildren Abigail Lillard of Smithville, AR, Brooke Blissenbach (Stephen) and Tanner Lillard of Pocahontas, AR and a great-great grandson Samuel Blissenbach of Pocahontas, AR. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy, LaPlace, LA 70068.
