RESERVE — St. John the Baptist Parish’s Independence Day celebration will kick off with a Veterans Luncheon, held in-person at 11 a.m. at REGALA Gymnasium, 200 REGALA Park Road in Reserve. Photos for a veterans tribute video may be submitted to communications@stjohn-la.gov or via drop-off in the water bill boxes outside the Parish Government building in LaPlace or the Edgard Courthouse.

An Independence Day celebration and firework show will take place at 6 p.m., with fireworks starting at 9 p.m., at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edgard. For more information, visit sjbparish.gov.
