LAPLACE _Congratulations to SCC’s most recent college athletic signee, Ian Arnett, who recently committed to join the Delgado Baseball program. Athletic Director and Coach Wayne Stein spoke during the signing about Ian’s dedication to his teams and to his growth as an athlete and as a person throughout his time at SCC. While competing as a Comet, Ian was a part of the State Runner-Up Swim Team, the Back-to-Back State Championship Football Teams, and the Back-to-Back State Championship Baseball Teams. In baseball, during the 2022 season, Ian was named the District MVP as well as All-State, All-Metro, and All-Region. Originally sidelined by a knee injury during the football season, Ian battled throughout the year to be able to play baseball again as a Comet. The St. Charles Catholic family knows Arnett will continue to fly high and shine bright!
