NORCO — NolaBee is excited to announce that they have qualified for the quarterfinals of the Super Mom competition. This online competition runs in multiple phases, offering the winner a two-page advertorial in Woman’s World Magazine in addition to fiscal compensation. The winner will be determined by receiving the most votes per qualified round. The Quarterfinals began May 15 and end May 25. Should NolaBee continue in the running, they will advance to the Semifinals that run May 26 through June 1. The final round, which determines the winner, will begin June 2 and end June 8. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced on or around June 15. NolaBee is looking for community support in obtaining this honor. Voters can place one vote per 24 hours on the website (https://thesupermom.org/2023/summer-zeringue-mccune) at no cost, when they login through Facebook.

Summer McCune, founder of Awareness Jammies, states, “It’s a great honor to be in the running for this opportunity and incredibly humbling to have the support of my community behind me. I’m looking forward to utilizing the funds from this campaign to continue to raise awareness for children in the greater New Orleans area and beyond who are on their own medical journeys.” Summer states, “I started this endeavor to raise awareness for my daughter and to be a friend/resource to other caregivers who may also be walking the path of pediatric feeding disorders, and then felt a strong calling to use my artwork in a new meaningful way for other diagnosis as well! I hope to help children around the world put a face with a diagnosis and hope to cultivate an opportunity for guardians to have difficult conversations with their little ones.” Summer, goes on to say, that being able to donate a portion of the proceeds back to Children’s Hospital of New Orleans from this pajama line keeps me going, knowing that this is bigger than just pajamas but a way to give back to so many children in our community. The funds may be allocated to help with research to eliminate these conditions or help provide further resources for those facing these battles. It’s an honor to use my artwork to help tell the stories of so many amazing, brave little ones. Every child’s story deserves to be heard and I love the idea of your little one befriending the faces of these collections!” Summer shares insight on how she would utilize the awards, if honored, by sharing, “If I were to win this competition, it would not only give me the funds to help release collections of other pediatric conditions sooner, but also give me the opportunity to raise awareness for Pediatric Feeding disorders and introduce my daughter, Adler, to others and tell her story through a two-page magazine spread.”

Super Mom is currently live for voting on https://thesupermom.org/2023/summer-zeringue-mccune. NolaBee will need the support of the Greater New Orleans area to pledge to vote daily, to secure this honor and give back to the community.
