RESERVE — East St. John’s Literary/Film Club’s recent meeting featured a visit from a special guest, local Notary Public Michelle Sweeney.

Mrs. Sweeney spoke on the importance of a signature and explained why it is an anchor of trust and evidence.  Students were engaged in learning and practicing their personal signatures that can be used to endorse documents in the future.

Being comfortable with signatures will allow them to be confident when writing, signing checks and completing basic legal documents.  Practice makes perfect!

Organizers said it was a great learning experience!
