LAPLACE — The Pontchartrain Conservancy invites St. John the Baptist Parish residents to a community meeting on waterways hosted at East St. John Preparatory Academy, 400 Ory Drive in LaPlace, from 6 to 8 p.m. on May 10.

Residents will be able to share and discuss local water concerns and priorities and learn more about CITE: A Community Water Quality Project. Light dinner will be served, and participants will enjoy children’s activities and a raffle.
