LAPLACE — On April 25, the St. John the Baptist Parish Fire Department assisted Thelonious with his “promposal” to classmate Bella at Little Starrs Center in LaPlace. Dressed in his bunker gear, the little firefighter got off of the fire truck with roses, a special gift, and a sign that read “Bella, can you put out the fire in my heart & go to prom with me?” Bella said yes!
