LAPLACE—In 1971, the Louisiana State Council decided on one Catholic Boy, and one Catholic Girl, as their State Winners.

The Knights of Columbus, Ascension of our Lord, Council 9623 announced its Catholic Youth Leadership Winners, for 2023

In the Girl’s Division, Erin Powell was the Scholarship Winner.

Erin will attend Louisiana Tech, in Ruston, Louisiana and major in the Clinical Psychologist Field.

In the Boy’s Division, Hunter Harwood Lowry was the Scholarship Winner.

Hunter will attend the River Parish Community College, in Reserve. He will train in Process Technology, for future employment in the Refinery Field.
