DESTREHAN, LA – In partnership with the LSU Ag Center and the Louisiana Master Gardeners, Destrehan Plantation will hold its 1st annual Spring Garden Festival on Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26. Located at 13034 River Road in Destrehan, Louisiana gates are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. General admission for a full day is $5 per person and children five and under are free.
Our Spring Garden Festival will showcase plant nurseries and vendors who focus on the porch, patio, yard and garden. There will be educational seminars and exhibits throughout the day, an exhibit from the Greater New Orleans Bonsai Society, a country store, spring drinks with and without alcohol, a food court, and live music.
Children’s Activities include an arts & crafts activity tent, a demonstration from the bee keeper, a garden demonstration with LSU Ag Center, a visit and picture taking with the Easter Bunny from 2 to 4 p.m. on both days and an Easter egg hunt at 4 p.m. on both days.
Guided tours of the plantation home will be available throughout the day.

Sunday, March 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Nola Dukes Jazz Quartet
Family friendly non-aggressive pets are welcomed at the show. Dogs must be on a leash, or in a carrying case or stroller at all times.
