LUTCHER—Baton Rouge Cardiology Center (BRCC) has expanded local cardiology services at St. James Parish Hospital in Lutcher to include additional outpatient clinic days.
For the past decade, Dr. Darrin Breaux, MD, FACC, and Baton Rouge Cardiology Center have served St. James Parish. To meet the growing need for convenient access to cardiology services, the BRCC team caring for patients in Lutcher has expanded.
Baton Rouge Cardiology Center is now available for clinic appointments every Wednesday and Friday in Lutcher with providers Sarah Wylie, APRN, FNP-C and Sara Frank APRN, ANP-C. Dr. Breaux will also continue to see patients every other Wednesday.
“Baton Rouge Cardiology Center utilizes a team-based approach to care for patients. Our cardiologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurses work collaboratively to improve outcomes and enhance the patient experience,” said Dr. Breaux, cardiologist at BRCC.
In addition to more outpatient clinic days, BRCC physicians Dr. Breaux and Dr. Kevin Kilpatrick, MD, FACC, will support the hospital through inpatient and emergency room (ER) consultations and diagnostic testing interpretations.
“We are excited to expand upon the great reputation of Dr. Breaux in this community and reaffirm our commitment to offer the quality care patients have come expect from Baton Rouge Cardiology Center,” said Martin “Bubby” Fischer, BRCC Executive Director.
BRCC Cardiologists are among the most respected in the region, specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and advanced treatment of cardiovascular disease. BRCC is a private practice that provides a full spectrum of services for cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, heart valve disease, atrial fibrillation and heart arrhythmias.
“Our vision to make care more convenient, coordinated and comprehensive can only be fulfilled by aligning with providers that bring quality services directly to our patients,” said Mary Ellen Pratt, FACHE, St. James Parish Hospital CEO. “We look forward to continuing our relationship with Baton Rouge Cardiology Center in an even greater capacity.”
Baton Rouge Cardiology Center providers see patients in Suite 1200 inside the Medical Plaza next to St. James Parish Hospital. Appointments are available in Lutcher on Wednesdays and Fridays. For more information about BRCC’s services or to schedule an appointment, call 225.214.9666.
