Hahnville, La. – The St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation is excited to announce Swamp School returns for another summer of week-long sessions at Wetland Watchers Park in Norco. Kids 8-12 are invited to attend Swamp School to develop an appreciation for the natural world through a balance of educational and entertaining outdoor adventures.

 

Registration for the camp costs $200 per child, and all registrations will open online at midnight (12 a.m.) at scpparksandrec.com. Campers will be registered on a first come, first served basis.

 

Swamp School Registration Dates
Session 1 (June 5 – June 9) Registration will open Saturday, March 4.
Session 2 (June 12 – June 16) Registration will open on Saturday, March 11.
Session 3 (July 17 – July 21) Registration will open on Saturday, March 18.
Session 4 (July 24 – July 28) Registration will open on Saturday, March 25.

 

Swamp School is one of six summer programs offered by the Department of Parks and Recreation. The full slate of Summer Programming includes Ochsner Sports Agility Clinic, Summer Basketball Camp, Summer Baseball Camp, Summer Flag Football Camp, Summer Softball Camp and Swamp School.
