This week several local basketball teams were in the second round of playoff games. It was a difficult night for the River Parish teams.

Division III-Select:

No. 7 St. Charles Catholic fell to No. 10 Catholic N.I. at home with the score 25 to 28.

Division I Non-select:

No. 12 Hahnville took on No. 5 Ouachita Parish in an away game. The Tigers were defeated 68 to 61.

No. 15 East St. John traveled to take on No. 2 Ruston. The Wildcats lost 35 to 75.

Division II Non-select:

No. 15 Lutcher played at No. 2 Iowa. The Dogs ended the season with a score of 58 to 69.

Division IV Select:

No. 18 Riverside Academy played at No. 2 Lincoln Preparatory School. The Rebels lost 68 to 78.
