East St. John Girls’ Basketball Team receives honors

RESERVE—The Lady Cats had a very successful basketball season this year. The team ranked No. 11 and is the Regional Champs for its division. The team advanced to the quarterfinals before falling to No. 3 Barbe with the final score of 73 – 59. The following students earned All-District honors for 7-5A.

Leyah Watson – Defensive MVP/Honorable Mention
Shairie Joseph – 2nd Team All-District
Kyla Cage – 2nd Team All-District/Defensive Team
Tramya Richardson – Honorable Mention
