It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andy Earl Harmon (Laplace, Louisiana), born in Gholson, Mississippi, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn his daughter, Laterra [Harmon] Shetler (Ryan) of Louisville, Ky and son, Eric Ducote of Reserve, LA. His two granddaughters, Hannah and Lilly Shetler of Louisville, KY. His sisters, Betty S. Harmon & Clara M. Shorter of Davenport, IA Juanita Grady & Dallas Parks of Meridian, MS and Lillie Mae Woodridge of East St. Louis, Missouri; brothers, Tommy & Larry Harmon of Gholson, MS, Mike (Trisha) Harmon of Dekalb, Ms and Edgar (Diane) Harmon of Barstow, Florida; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents Charlie and Rosie Lee Harmon; brothers, Raymond, Earnest, Charlie, Lee, George, and Adell Harmon; sister, Ora Lee.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 3rd 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Milesville Memorial Church of God in Christ Church (129 Apple Street Laplace, LA 70068) and Saturday, March 4th 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (4230 Weaver-Sciple Mill Road DeKalb, Mississippi 39328).
