TAFT — On Saturday, January 21, 2023 around 7:40 pm, deputies with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a carjacking that occurred in the 16000 block of River Road in Taft, LA.
Two females reported they were seated in the vehicle when a male subject, armed with a firearm, approached the vehicle. The male allegedly told the female that was seated in the driver’s seat to take him to Hahnville, while pressing the firearm to her head. That female exited the vehicle and the male got in.
