Abel Tassin a resident of LaPlace, LA passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, at the age of 77.
Beloved husband of Sandra Tassin for 56 years. Loving father of Shawn Tassin, Margery Tassin (Michael), and Jennifer Arceneaux (Richard). Grandfather of Savannah Gonsoulin (Aaron), Cale Arceneaux, and Roman Arceneaux, and the late Cole, Cort, and Faith Arceneaux. Great Grandfather of George Ruth Gonsoulin. Son of the late Lurry Tassin and Cecelia Bonnette. Brother of Darrel Tassin (Carol), Margaret Ducote (Michael), and the late Betty Gorum (Bennie), Donald Tassin, and Barbara Tassin. Also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. He then joined Delta Airlines as a Flight Mechanic for 35 years.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home.
