SJSO seeks help finding homicide subject

On Saturday, October 1, 2022, the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Eat 21st Street in Reserve in reference to a homicide. The victim was shot several times and was pronounced deceased on scene.
Through investigation, detectives developed Ashley Marie Johnson-Washington (Pictured below) as the person responsible for the homicide.
Detectives determined that Washington fled the scene in a 2012 Kia Sorento (LA: 423FGL) that was last seen travelling eastbound on I-10 from LaPlace.
