Nominations for Best of the River Parishes will come to close on Friday. Now is your chance to nominate your favorite businesses in St. John, St. James and St. Charles parishes. This is an easy way to support local businesses and let them know how much they are valued in the community.

To participate, visit lobservateur.com/contests. There are several groups with various categories such as Best Hamburger. Nominations can be submitted once per day per category. The top three businesses in each category will go on to the voting round, which will happen in August.

The winners list is scheduled to come out in October.

This year, the River Parishes Tourist Commission is teaming up with L’OBSERVATEUR to help get the word out. Let your voice be heard and vote for your favorites!
