HAHNVILLE — Parish President Matthew Jewell and the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness invite people of all ages to its open house events on Tuesday, June 14 at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the Emergency Operations Center.

Residents will see what happens in the state’s only 24/7 EOC and how the skilled team of employees responds to disasters and emergencies that occur within the parish. They will also tour the facility, attend sessions and hear from President Jewell and EOC representatives.  Light refreshments will be provided.

The EOC is located at 15026 River Road in Hahnville.
