Food distribution for students coming to RPCC Reserve campus

Capital Area United Way and BASF partner with River Parish Community College for United We Feed Distribution
RESERVE – Capital Area United Way, BASF and the leadership group Women in BASF in conjunction with Women’s History Month, and Blessed to be a Blessing will partner for a United We Feed distribution at the Reserve Campus of River Parish Community College, benefiting students who were affected by Hurricane Ida in St. Charles, St. James and St. John the Baptist parishes.
The distribution will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 11 in the West Parking lot of 181 REGALA Park Rd. in Reserve.
St. Charles United Way, St. John United Way and United 1st Steps are also participating in this event.
All students participating in this event must pre-register through RPCC and present a valid student ID or driver’s license at the time of pick up. The first 150 students will receive a fresh produce box from Top Box Foods Louisiana. The first 200 will receive a jambalaya lunch from BASF, All participants will receive a $75 Walmart gift card and a $5 gift card to McDonald’s. Blessed to be a Blessing will be providing personal care kits.
This event is made possible in part by BASF’s generous $125,000 donation to our Hurricane Ida Relief Fund to assist victims in Capital Area United Way’s 10-Parish service area.
