Two parades are ready to roll in St. John Parish.
The Tohwahpahsah Parade will begin at noon Saturday, February 26, 2022 through Reserve. On Sunday, February 27, 2022, the Krewe of Dage’ will roll at 11 a.m. through LaPlace.
St. John Parish officials have met with representatives from each parade as well as first responders and all agencies who assist with logistics for the parades.
The Tohwahpahsah and Krewe of Dage’ parades will follow traditional routes. Streets will be closed about 15 minutes before the parade arrives.
In LaPlace, on February 27, northbound lanes on Belle Terre Boulevard at Fairway Drive are expected to close at about 12:30 p.m. until the parade ends.
