LAPLACE — John C. Maxwell once said, “The single biggest way to impact an organization is to focus on leadership development. There is almost no limit to the potential of an organization that recruits good people, raises them up as leaders and continually develops them.”

A new generation of leaders was born with the Leadership River Region Class of 2022 graduates. Representing various industries across St. John the Baptist, St. Charles and St. James parishes, each of these individuals are poised to positively impact the communities they live and work in.

The focus of the Leadership River Region program is to provide participants with opportunities to reflect on their individual leadership style, personal career development and enhance or develop skills in several specific areas including executive presence and presentation skills, leadership mindset, difficult conversations and collaborative relationship building.

Leadership River Region is a program organized and managed by the River Region Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The River Region Chamber of Commerce Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the investors in our communities of St. James, St. John and St. Charles. The Chamber provides businesses of all sizes a multitude of valuable benefits and online tools that will enhance their respective markets to further business growth.
