Cabbage ball tournament drops bombs on cancer

RESERVE — Everette “Eddie” Trosclair, son of the late Rene Trosclair Sr. and the late Laura Mae Trosclair, was born and raised in Garyville, Louisiana. He now works for Shell Norco and resides in Reserve with his wife, Cindy, and their children, Cody, Carly and Chloe Trosclair. Eddie was diagnosed with cancer in August 2021. Thus far, he has had one major surgery in addition to numerous medical procedures.
A cabbage ball tournament raising funds for Eddie’s medical expenses will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 12 at Reserve Bantam Recreation Park. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, a cornhole tournament starting at 10 a.m., a parade of prizes, and plenty of food, drinks and sweets. The band “Sour Candy” will provide live entertainment on site from 5 to 8 p.m.
