RESERVE — The East St. John High School Lady Cats basketball team earned an impressive 51-42 win Monday against Northshore High School, a team ranked No. 6 in the state for 5A.

Jasmine Matthews led with 24 points, followed by Ashia Ward with 15 points.

The Lady Cats have a 18-3 record as of Tuesday afternoon. This evening, they will travel to face 5A District opponent Terrebonne.
