GARYVILLE — The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of a suspicious subject with a weapon at the Marathon facility in Garyville Thursday afternoon.

Through investigation, officers learned a radio had been mistaken for a gun. SJSO reported after 1 p.m. that the area was all clear, and everyone is safe.
