RESERVE — On Wednesday, November 10, the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Home celebrated Veterans Day by receiving a parade from area organizations.
The Veterans Home is still on lockdown, but the staff and residents came outside as civilian and veterans paid their respect to all veterans. Those that participated in the drive by included but were not limited to the American Legion, Southeast Louisiana American Legion Riders, Sheriff Mike Tregre and his officers, fire departments which include the St. John Fire Department and the Marathon Fire Department, the office of District Attorney Brigit Dinvaut, the office of Parish President Jaclyn Hotard and American Legion Auxilary.
