LAPLACE – For one night only, four of Country music’s hottest acts will take the stage at the Cajundome in Lafayette for the Ragin Country Crawl Benefit Concert, where 100% of ticket sales revenue will be distributed to local charities to assist in the recovery from Hurricane Ida. Featuring Lee Brice, Randy Houser, Colt Ford and Dee Jay Silver, the Ragin Country Crawl takes place on Sunday, Nov. 7, with doors opening at 3:30 p.m. and the show starting at 5 p.m. in Lafayette.
Two of the new funds that will benefit from the concert were created by Louisiana’s River Parishes Tourist Commission, including the Hospitality Workers and Support Fund and the Recovery and Assistance Fund. Both will go a long way in assisting the workers and residents of the River Parishes with support as the region continues to rebound from the devastation of Hurricane Ida.
“Having a benefit concert like this hosted by our friends in Lafayette means so much to us and continues to show the true spirit of togetherness we have in Louisiana,” said Jay Robichaux, Louisiana’s River Parishes executive director. “Donations to these two funds are so important and will allow us to continue to take care of our hospitality workers and residents who need so much at this time.”
