On Sunday, September 12, 2021
• Deputies made an investigatory stop due to a curfew violation, while speaking with the subject deputies detected the odor of marijuana; a search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and the subject has outstanding attachments; one arrest was made;
On Saturday, September 11, 2021
• Deputies responded to a call for service near the 100 block of Johnson St., Ama reference entry made through the rear window of a residence; 4 guns, Stihl chainsaw and a wrist watch were stolen;
• Deputies responded to a call for service near the 100 block of Ormond Oaks Drive in Destrehan reference a contractor hired to repair an electrical issue at a residence, the contractor cut wire from a down pole nearby to use in repair work; one arrest was made by misdemeanor summons;
• Deputies responded to a call for service in the 100 block of Janet Drive in St. Rose reference someone entering through a fence and stealing 2 laptops off of a back porch.
• Deputies made an investigatory stop due to a curfew violation, made contact with a subject, detected the odor of marijuana, and observed the subject attempting to ingest a bag of pills. One arrest was made.
On Friday, September 10, 2021
• Deputies responded to a call for service in the 200 block of Meadows Drive in Destrehan reference to a stolen generator;
• Deputies responded to a call for service in the 100 block of Ashland Drive in Luling reference to a stolen generator, the victim possibly observed it in a vehicle leaving the area;
• Deputies responded to a call for in the 300 block of Trailsway Drive in Hahnville reference to a subject making entry through the rear window, a/c unit was pushed out of the way, several rooms were in disarray and it is unknown what was stolen;
On Thursday, September 9, 2021
• Deputies responded to a call for service near the 100 block of Carriage Lane, Destrehan reference to juveniles breaking windows in two apartments, unknown if entry was made;
• Deputies responded to call for service at 10151 Airline Hwy, St. Rose at the Comfort Inn in reference items stolen out of a room (Lt. Lavergne advised this is not Ida related)
