The funeral service for former Governor Edwin Edwards was held on Sunday, July 18 at the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge. Deputies from the St. James Sheriff’s Office served as Honor Guards along with other law enforcement officers from across the state. Representatives from St. James were Sergeant Patrick Hall, Deputy Ebony Brown and Deputy Keaton Andrade.
